Barceló Nasandhura Malé

Tabú Design completed the installation of custom furniture for Barceló Nasandhura, a 15-floor 5-star urban hotel located in Malé, which has become a reference in the Maldives. This project showcases our ability to collaborate with clients, architects and interior designers, from concept to installation.

 

We developed both fixed and loose furniture, designed to align with the hotel’s aesthetic and functional needs. Every piece was crafted using materials suited to the island’s climate, combining durability, design and precision.

  • Fixed Furniture: A total of 95 bespoke pieces for common areas, including wardrobes, counters, ornamental screens, common tables, shelving units, planters, sofas and vanities. 
  • Wall panels: More than 1,600sqm of custom shapes, ropework, striped and plain wood were installed with precision to fit into the space and enhance the guest experience.  

 

Throughout the installation phase, Tabú Design deployed a dedicated team on site, as well as regular quality control to ensure smooth progress and consistent adherence to our standards. 

The result is a project that embodies teamwork, precision and timeless beauty of crafted furniture.
