Jiak Kim House Singapore

In collaboration with Studio Dinding, Tabú Design furnished Jiak Kim House, a modern Asian restaurant set in the heritage building that once hosted Singapore’s iconic Zouk nightclub. The project vision was to merge history with a contemporary dining experience, balancing elegance, comfort and functionality.

Tabú Design supplied a full range of bespoke loose furniture for the main dining area and private dining rooms.

  • Custom-designed dining chairs, tables and service stations.
  • Decorative wall panels that subtly echo the building’s warehouse origins.
  • Unique rattan and wood pieces tailored to bring warmth and authenticity to the overall interior concept.

All pieces were custom-made by Tabú Design and produced in-house by our craftsmen team. We refined dimensions, construction details and material selections to achieve both aesthetic precision and durability. We also carried out strict quality controls before shipment.

The final outcome is a harmonious and elegant collection that celebrates both heritage and contemporary design, along the Singapore River.
