In collaboration with Studio Dinding, Tabú Design supplied custom furniture pieces for Yellow Fin Horse, a contemporary restaurant located on the fourth floor of Else Kuala Lumpur in the heart of historic Chinatown. Warm, rustic interiors and an open kitchen create an inviting atmosphere that feels both refined and relaxed.
Tabú Design provided loose furniture tailored to the restaurant’s interior concept, including custom stools, dining chairs and dining tables. Each piece combines comfort, durability and a quiet sense of elegance that aligns with the chef’s straightforward, ingredient-first culinary vision.
Materials were selected for longevity in a high-activity dining environment with a focus on achieving a natural and modern look. The completed space at Yellow Fin Horse offers a warm and intimate dining experience that feels grounded, welcoming and in tune with the restaurant’s commitment to honest and elemental cooking.
